Day Four – Bath

Take a walk through Bath’s most elegant public spaces to the wonderfully restored No. 1 Royal Crescent; look behind the grand Palladian façade to discover the realities of Georgian life for the wealthy and their servants. Nearby, the Assembly Rooms hosts the Fashion Museum, whose world-class collection ranges from 18th-century court dress to contemporary catwalk pieces. For lunch, choose from a host of well-known and independent restaurants at Milsom Place.

A short bus trip takes you to Prior Park and its Capability Brown-designed gardens for an altogether green and pleasant afternoon. From there, stroll along the Bath Skyline walk for a magnificent view of the city and beyond – and then finish your trip by immersing yourself in Bath’s natural thermal waters at Thermae Bath Spa.
